Ingredients:

  • 1 kg chicken breasts, cut into chunks
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp garam masala
  • 1 tbsp turmeric
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 tbsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, minced
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Fresh coriander for garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the chicken in yogurt and half of the spices for at least 1 hour.
  2. Heat oil in a large pot and sauté the onions until golden brown.
  3. Add garlic and ginger, cooking for another 2 minutes.
  4. Stir in tomatoes, cooking until they soften.
  5. Mix in the remaining spices and cook for 1 minute to release their aromas.
  6. Add the marinated chicken, stirring to coat with the sauce.

Ingredients:

  • 500g ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 kg potatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 4 tbsp butter

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a large pan, cook the beef until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, sauté the onions and carrots until softened. Add garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Stir in tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth. Return the beef to the pan and simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Boil the potatoes until tender, then mash with milk and butter. Season with salt and pepper.
